Terms & Conditions
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zustland Service operated by Zustland Technologies Private Limited ("Zustland", "we", "us" or "our").
The Zustland Service includes the public website, the web application at app.zustland.com, associated mobile applications and related services.
1. The Service
Zustland is building a digital platform for real-world communities. Depending on the community and product version, the Service may provide identity, community membership, contextual communication and structured participation features including announcements, events, issues, requests, passes and related workflows.
The Service is under active development. Features, availability and functionality may change as the product evolves.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide information that is accurate and that you are authorised to provide. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and authentication methods and for activity carried out through your account, except where caused by our failure to maintain reasonable security.
Zustland is intended for users aged 13 and above. Where applicable law establishes a higher minimum age or requires parental or guardian consent or other safeguards, those requirements apply. If you are under 18, your use of the Service may also be subject to parent or guardian involvement, community rules and other requirements imposed by applicable law.
You must not impersonate another person, create an account using information you are not authorised to use, or attempt to access another person's account.
3. Communities and administrators
Zustland may host or support communities operated by housing communities, schools, organisations, groups or other community administrators. Community administrators may establish additional rules, manage membership and administer community-specific features.
Community administrators are responsible for decisions and information they control within their communities, subject to applicable law and their agreements with Zustland.
4. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the limited rights necessary for Zustland to host, store, reproduce, display and process that content to provide and secure the Service.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit content and that your content does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- commit, facilitate or promote unlawful activity;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, defame or materially harm another person;
- publish content that unlawfully infringes intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
- send spam or abuse invitations, notifications or communication features;
- attempt unauthorised access to accounts, communities, systems or data;
- introduce malicious code or interfere with the Service; or
- collect, disclose or misuse another person's information without appropriate authority;
- engage in child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE), grooming, sexual solicitation of a minor, sextortion involving a minor, trafficking or other exploitation of children;
- create, upload, request, possess, share or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or use the Service to facilitate child exploitation or abuse.
6. Reporting, moderation and enforcement
Zustland may provide reporting, blocking, moderation and administrative controls depending on the feature and community. Where these controls are available, they are intended to support community safety and enforcement of these Terms. We may review, restrict, remove or disable content or accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, respond to reports, protect users or communities, address security risks or comply with law.
We do not guarantee that every item of user-generated content will be reviewed before it is visible.
7. Child safety
Zustland prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, including grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion involving minors, trafficking or other exploitation of children, and the creation, upload, request, possession, sharing or distribution of CSAM. Concerns may be reported through the reporting or feedback mechanisms available in the Service or to [email protected]. We may take action, including removing content, restricting accounts or escalating matters, in accordance with our Child Safety Standards, applicable law and our enforcement procedures.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, design, documentation and original materials provided by Zustland, is owned by or licensed to Zustland and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Zustland's intellectual property to you.
9. Third-party services and links
The Service may link to or rely on third-party services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to operate the Service reliably but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, including during development, maintenance, security incidents or changes to the product.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address violations of these Terms, security risks, abuse, legal requirements or operational reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion through the available process.
12. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Community information and user-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. You should independently verify information where the consequences of relying on it are significant.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zustland will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Zustland against claims, losses and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your material violation of these Terms, or content you submit that infringes another person's rights.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory rights and protections available to you under applicable law. Subject to those mandatory rights and any forum that applicable law requires or permits, courts having jurisdiction in Faridabad, Haryana, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
For clarity, this provision does not prevent a user from exercising any statutory right to approach a forum, authority or court that cannot lawfully be excluded by contract.
16. Commercial services
If Zustland offers paid plans, subscriptions, pilots or other commercial services, applicable pricing, billing, scope, service levels and other commercial terms may be set out separately in an order form, proposal, subscription page or other agreement. Nothing in these Terms creates a commitment that any particular paid plan, pricing or commercial service will be available.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
